I was born and raised on a farm in the American Mid West.

Being the first person in the family to finish high school and go on to university, I felt successful at a early age.

Continuing my education at the master”s level thanks to an assistantship where I ran a women’s dormitory in exchange for my tuition, board and room.

Another small scholarship put me in touch with West Africa in 1960 and gave me lifetime wanderlust which is anothr form of education.

I have been blessed with the variety of my travels and experiences
